1. In order to utilize the multiple culture background advantage of new residents and their children, and to proactively cultivate the citizens’ mind regarding multiple culture, as well as to promote the concept delivered by “The International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD)” to new residents and their children to increase their knowledge and participation in public affairs, National Immigration Agency therefore organizes the competition. It’s also aimed at making unique, creative projects that can be used in campus or community events, and furthermore, making the ideas a policy proposal or practical actions, through the practice in these places, our citizens will be able to learn to appreciate cultural difference and respect the diversity of multiple races.

2. It’s expected to choose 10 teams in the competition to practice the actions. In addition, a reward money will be granted to each team according to the contents of action execution, the best execution team will be rewarded NT$80,000. The registration of the competition is from May 16th to July 15th, 2022. Please mail the registration form to “Immigration Counseling Section, Immigration Affairs Division of National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior (with postmark as proof).
