Activity Update
  • Tittle: Emotional Support Group - Emotions for You, Me, and Them
  • UpdateDate: 2024.05.13

Psychologist Carl Gustav Jung believes that the reflection of inner states is a catalyst for personal growth and change. Emotions often stem from subconscious activities, especially unresolved conflicts and suppressed feelings from personal experiences. These emotions can be expressed through non-verbal means such as dreams, imagination, and art, providing an opportunity for identification and processing, allowing individuals to better understand themselves and promote psychological health and interpersonal development. Given the richness and diversity of emotions, we are organizing this program to seek to accurately identify and empathize with them.

For new immigrants who face language barriers, effective communication in daily life can be achieved through various means. Recognizing correct communication emotions is key. Therefore, the New Resident Family Service Center in Miaonan District will host the "New Immigrant Supportive Group - Emotions for You, Me, and Them." Through the guidance of lecturers, new immigrants can learn to identify and empathize with their own and others' communication emotions, allowing emotions to complement any deficiencies in language.

This event consists of four sessions, each lasting two hours. Ten participants can be accommodated per session. Classes will be held on June 2 and June 16, from 10:30 am to 03:30 pm on both days.

We sincerely invite new immigrants who are interested in the event to participate. Limited spots are available, so register now! For registration, please contact Mr. Weng on 037-276027.
