Beyond the biological distinctions
between men and women, the interaction between body and mind calls for a more
diverse perspective on gender. Before discussing gender equality, we should
have a deeper understanding and awareness of gender issues and current
developments.
To enhance the quality of life and
cultural appreciation of new immigrants in Taiwan, we are organizing an
empowerment and gender equality advocacy event. Besides acknowledging
biological males and females, modern living concepts and cultural integration
necessitate a more diverse perspective on gender and acceptance of various
viewpoints.
This
event is open to 50 participants and will be held on September 21 from 9:00 am
to 12:30 pm at Classroom 207, Miaoli County Disability Development Center (No.
851, Section 4, Jingguo Road, Jiaxin Village, Miaoli City).
We sincerely invite
new residents who are interested in this course to register! Places are limited
and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Mr. Weng on
037-276027 to register.
