Want to enhance your media literacy, gain hands-on experience in digital media production, and visit real media organizations? The 2025 New Immigrant Children’s Multicultural Training Camp has officially launched! Through professional courses and immersive experiences, participants can leverage their multicultural and language skills, develop media-related skills, and boost their future career prospects.

 

The 2025 New Immigrant Children’s Multicultural Training Camphas officially launched media literacy course and the use of digital media. Additionally, visits to media organizations will be arranged to help participants effectively leverage their multicultural and linguistic advantages. The program aims to cultivate professionals in related fields and promote multiculturalism.

Registration Deadline: Until April 14, 2025 (Monday) (postmark date applies)

Camp Dates: July 14 (Monday) – July 16 (Wednesday), 2025 (3 days, 2 nights)

Location: Chientan Overseas Youth Activity Center (tentative – TBC)

Eligibility: Open to high school (vocational school) students and older in Taiwan, including children of new immigrants and Taiwanese nationals.

Note: As per Article 2 of the New Immigrants Basic Act, new immigrant children include:

l   Married migrants residing or permanently residing in Taiwan

l   Foreign investors and specialized professionals residing or permanently residing in Taiwan

l   Mainland Chinese residents with long-term residence in Taiwan or Hong Kong and Macau residents eligible for permanent residence in Taiwan

l   Foreign nationals under item 1 and 2 or stateless persons who have acquired nationality through naturalization and reside in Taiwan

l   New immigrants who have registered their household in Taiwan

l   Foreign nationals who have been granted residence under items 1 and 2, provided they do not hold Taiwanese nationality
