The Service Center for New Immigrant Families, Miaoli County will offer a skill training course on September 25, 2022. The morning session will be held on the 2nd floor of Pâtisserie Tommy, from 9:00 to 12:30, while the afternoon session will be held at Xizhou Community Center in Houlong Township, from 14:00 to17:00. We encourage parents and children of new resident families living in Miaoli County to sign up!

   Xu, Hui-xin, a woman from mainland China also new to Taiwan, will be the lecturer of the course. She will share with new resident participants her adaption experience after coming to Taiwan and the process of becoming an entrepreneur. Furthermore, she will introduce Formosan rock macaques coffee, the featured local agricultural product, as well as her motivation and planning for coffee production and the challenges and successes that local industry can face. She will discuss trends and the future of the coffee industry with participants and offer advice to participants who are interested in developing coffee-related careers.
