In order to promote quality leisure activities and aesthetic arts as a way to improve the art and cultural literacy among new immigrant families, the New Immigrant Family Service Center at Southern Miaoli offers Parent-Child Painting and Sketching Courses from July 22 to August 12 to increase the interaction between parents and children. On August 18, the Miaoli Hakka Academy will host a sketching competition to provide new immigrants and their children with an opportunity to learn from each other and promote their care for local culture and community characteristics.
Date: July 22 to August 12; Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. for a total of six sessions.

Location: New Immigrant Family Service Center at Southern Miaoli (3F, No. 8, Weigong Rd., Miaoli City)
It is estimated that 30 new immigrants and their family members will be recruited.
