Disaster Prevention Made Easy with the “Disaster Info e-Portal” –
Protecting You, Me, and Everyone
To establish a citizen-centered digital disaster information service,
the government has developed a personalized and integrated information platform
based on public needs. This service focuses on disaster prevention and response
for earthquakes, typhoons, and floods. By aligning with individual concerns
about disaster preparedness, it enhances government digital services and
contributes to both convenient living and effective disaster governance.
The National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior has launched the
"Disaster Info e-Portal for All" – a Personalized Disaster
Information Website
(https://bear.emic.gov.tw/).
The website is designed to gather disaster-related information relevant
to individuals. It integrates data from various government agencies, including
disaster maps and alert systems. It also provides real-time disaster updates
and various interactive map layers through a user-friendly interface.
To ensure accessibility, the website supports 16 foreign languages,
including:
English, Spanish, French, German, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Malay,
Burmese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Hindi, Afrikaans, Russian, and Dutch,
making it easier for both locals and foreigners to access vital disaster
prevention and response information.
