- In
support of the government's digital inclusion policy, the National
Immigration Agency will start offering free digital application courses
for new immigrants and their children beginning in August 2024. This
initiative aims to enhance the digital skills of new immigrants.
- As part of the program, the agency
also provides a "Free Laptop or Tablet Rental Service" for new
immigrants. Eligible individuals can call the consultation hotline at
0800-030-068 to make a reservation or visit one of the 25 service stations
of the Immigration Agency to apply. The rented tablets or laptops will be
delivered directly to the participant's home, and they will also enjoy
unlimited 4G mobile internet each month. Additionally, new immigrants who
belong to low-income or middle-low-income households, special hardship
families, or those with disabled family members will receive priority
            access to the rental service.
