The Southern Miaoli New Immigrant Family
Service Center is about to host a local cultural diversity lecture event, aimed
at helping new immigrants integrate into Taiwanese society more quickly. Upon
arriving in Taiwan, new immigrants face challenges, not only in language and
family relationships, but also in adapting to the local culture and social
environment. This lecture provides an ideal learning platform to better
understand local characteristics, enhance social and communication skills, and
learn about various cultural groups.
The event will feature lectures by
cultural group teachers, allowing participants to learn about conversations
among different groups so they can improve their listening and speaking skills
and ability to express themselves. Through the course, participants will
enhance their ability to collaborate with others, establish team consensus, and
improve interpersonal communication skills.
This event is open to 35 participants and
will be held on August 24 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the Sanyi Wood Sculpture
Museum (No. 88, Guangsheng Xincheng, Guangsheng Village, Sanyi Township, Miaoli
County).
We sincerely invite
new residents who are interested in this course to register! Places are limited
and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Mr. Weng on
037-276027 to register.
