Cultural
parent-child activities provide new immigrant families with the opportunity to
deeply understand the unique cultural characteristics, traditional customs, and
local cuisine of different regions. The rich and colorful Minnan culture, which
encompasses history, cuisine, language, and more, is explored through highly
interactive activities such as cultural games, language learning, and
handicraft making. These activities encourage active participation and allow families
to experience all aspects of local culture together.
The Northern
Miaoli New Immigrant Family Service Center is inviting new immigrant families
to join the "New Immigrant Multicultural and Parent-Child Exchange"
event to enhance parent-child relationships and promote cross-cultural
exchange. This event aims to foster the integration of new immigrant families
into the local community while enriching their cultural experiences and
perspectives.
We are planning
to host 80 participants on August 24 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a cultural
tour at Dongli Jiafeng and the Tongxiao Sand-Sculpture Exhibition. Through
cultural and culinary exchanges, this event will help strengthen parent-child
relationships and promote overall well-being.
We warmly invite new immigrant families to join
us for this delightful event. Spaces are limited, so please register soon. For
registration, please contact Social Worker Zheng at 037-634428.
