To enhance new immigrants' understanding
of gender equality and to promote community integration and interaction, the
Northern Miaoli New Immigrant Family Service Center is organizing the "New
Immigrant Care: Discussing Gender Equality through Life and Legal
Perspectives" event. This event will focus on the themes of "Creative
Handcrafting" and "Gender Equality and Inclusion," aiming to
improve the quality of life of new immigrants and promote gender equality, not
only aiming to strengthen new immigrants' understanding of local culture, but
also raising awareness of gender equality. We hope to foster a more inclusive
society through this event, where every new immigrant can live and thrive in an
environment of equality and respect, and work together toward a shared vision
of gender equality.
The event will include creative handcraft
workshops and a gender equality and inclusion seminar, inviting new immigrants
and their families to participate. These specifically designed gender equality
education courses for new immigrants aim to help participants understand and
address issues related to gender equality.
The Dapu Activity Center plans to host 50
participants for this event on September 21, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Through
creative handicraft workshops and gender equality lectures, we aim to enhance awareness
of gender equality-related laws, ensuring the protection of new immigrants'
basic rights.
