To strengthen new immigrants' digital learning and cultural creativity expression, the Miaonan District Family Service Center for New Immigrants, Miaoli County, is holding an on-site workshop called "Creative Food Pictures and Copywriting: Design a Poster on the Theme of "Shrimp chips with Canva"" from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday, August 16 (No. 553, Zizhi Road, Miaoli City). New immigrants interested in poster design and creative marketing are welcome to register for the lecture, stimulating creativity and building your own visual style!

As more and more newcomers engage in handmade pastries, home cooking, cultural and creative start-up business, brand packaging and visual marketing have become crucial to success. In the lecture, the homemade pastry "Shrimp chips " is the theme. Combining the presentation design skills of Canva and PowerPoint and using ChatGPT as a creative and copywriting tool, the lecturer will lead participants to complete a promotional poster and product packaging design from basic design, content description and visual composition, to style setting that is full of personal flair.

In addition to learning practical skills and application tools, in the lecture new immigrants are also encouraged to integrate the elements of their home country with local culture, and present unique cross-cultural perspectives and culinary stories through design while exploring the possibilities of future career development or starting up a new business.

Registration is open now and places are limited to 20 for new immigrants and their families on a first-come, first-served basis.

Let creative design become a bridge for cultural exchange and self-fulfillment. We invite you to participate in this creativity feast for the eyes and taste buds!
