New Immigrant Family Service Center at Miaonan district cooperates with National Immigration Agency Central Affairs Section Miaoli Service Station to host “Marriage Management – Couples Communication Seminar.” The seminar invites Counseling Psychologist, Shuzhen Yang, to share tips of family management to increase the understanding of cultural and lifestyle differences between multicultural couples. The couples can accept the differences and adapt to each other through communication. It is hoped that this seminar can improve the couples’ relationship and invite them to participate in DIY lanterns to celebrate Lantern Festival together. Miaoli City Office will also invite to promote folk activities related to Spring Festival and 20th Anniversary of Hakka Fire Dragon Dance. New immigrant families are encouraged to participate in community folk activities to know more about local cultures. The seminar is offered on February 24, 2018, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30. The location of the seminar is at New Immigrant Family Service Center at Miaonan District (3F., No.8, Weigong Rd., Miaoli City, Miaoli County 36043, Taiwan).
