Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in Taiwan. Married daughters visiting their parents’ home is part of Taiwan’s traditional customs. However, for new immigrants who married Taiwanese and moved to Taiwan, they are unable to get together with their families in their home countries often. In order to relieve new immigrants’ homesickness, Miaoli County Gratitude Charity Association hosts “New Immigrants Visiting Home – Family Potluck Reunion.
